In 2000, I worked for Creatus, a small software design firm and placement agency (mostly for H1B visas). After Oracle, it was my "bootcamp" for webdesign, because of the high calibre of engineers that I worked with. They very nearly went out of business with the dotcom crash, but I am glad to say that they are still hanging in there.
This is one of several home page designs that I did for them. It was the first time I proposed using the Vitruvian man as a symbol for web engineering... When they acquired a small local design firm, they let me go. Since it was not the idea of the new art director, he refused to use it, along with the tag line I wrote: "Where technology is an art..."
