Our third project is to build a one page "tearsheet" or self-promotional print brochure. This is an advertisement where the product is YOU! You are selling your technical software skills, your creative talents, and your personal qualities as well.

The tearsheet should contain examples of your artwork, just a few thumbnails of your best designs, which can be Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash (screencaps), hand drawings, or whatever. It should also have your name and contact information, since this is designed to be sent or left with art directors and hiring managers. A short bio, and any relevant work experience that you want to include is also good. This may be the only sample of your work they ever see, so it better make a good impression!
